ZNF24

Zinc finger protein 24 (ZNF24) is a gene that encodes a transcription factor protein that functions in the myelination of differentiated oligodendrocytes and the conversion of oligodendrocytes from premyelinating to the myelinating state. Missense mutations, nonsense mutations, silent mutations, and nonstop extensions are observed in cancers such as endometrial cancer, intestinal cancer, and skin cancer.
