MYB

V-myb avian myeloblastosis viral oncogene homolog (MYB) is a gene that encodes a transcription factor protein that functions in both transcriptional activation and transcriptional repression. The protein also regulates hematopoiesis and tumorigenesis. Fusions, missense mutations, nonsense mutations, silent mutations, frameshift deletions and insertions, and in-frame deletions and insertions are observed in cancers such as breast cancer, endometrial cancer, and skin cancer.
