Homeobox A13 (HOXA13) is a gene that encodes a transcription factor protein that functions in the regulation of gene expression, morphogenesis, and differentiation. The protein also contributes to the development of hand-foot-uterus syndrome. Fusions, missense mutations, nonsense mutations, silent mutations, and frameshift deletions are observed in cancers such as bone cancer, endometrial cancer, and skin cancer.
