HIST1H2AG

Histone cluster 1, H2ag (HIST1H2AG) is a gene that encodes a protein that functions as a core component of the nucleosome. The protein plays an important role in transcriptional regulation, DNA replication, and chromosomal stability. Missense mutations, nonsense mutations, silent mutations, and frameshift deletions are observed in cancers such as adrenal cancer, biliary tract cancer, and endometrial cancer.
