FGFR1 oncogene partner (FGFR1OP) is a gene that encodes a protein that functions as a hydrophilic centrosomal protein. The protein is necessary for anchoring microtubules to subcellular structures. Fusions, missense mutations, and nonsense mutations are observed in cancers such as intestinal cancer, ovarian cancer, and stomach cancer.
