Damage-specific DNA binding protein 2, 47kDa (DDB2) is a gene that encodes a protein that functions in repair of UV light damaged DNA. Missense mutations, silent mutations, frameshift deletions, and nonsense mutations are observed in cancers such as endometrial cancer, urinary tract cancer, and cervical cancer.
