cAMP responsive element binding protein 1 (CREB1) is a gene that encodes a protein that is a transcription factor in the leucine zipper family of DNA binding proteins. Fusions, missense mutations, silent mutations, and nonsense mutations are observed in cancers such as upper aerodigestive tract cancer, breast cancer, and central nervous system cancers.
