Chimerin 1 (CHN1) is a gene that
encodes a protein that function as
GTPase-activating protein for ras-related
p21-rac and a phorbol ester receptor. The
protein is also involved in neuronal signal
transduction. Fusions, missense mutations,
nonsense mutations, silent mutations, and frameshift deletions are
observed in cancers such as intestinal cancer, lung cancer, and skin cancer.
