Aryl hydrocarbon receptor interacting protein (AIP) is a gene that encodes a transcription factor that functions in expression of xenobiotic metabolizing enzymes. Missense mutations, synonymous mutations, frameshift deletions, and frameshift insertions are observed in cancers such as meningeal cancer, colon cancer, and skin cancer.
